Many lower priced systems don't provide the energy savings and comfort that you receive from a high efficiency system that incorporates variable speed. In many cases, when looking at the additional up front cost over the life of the unit, the unit that appears to be more expensive is actually the best buy.

Why purchase a new unit when my unit is still running?

Most people actually replace their unit before it fails because of today's technology and the higher efficiency systems now available. Why wait until it breaks down on a 100 degree day.
